Note di degustazione
Medium red. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, earth and leather. Fuller on the palate than the Bousselots but without quite the same definition and thrust to its flavors of red fruits and spices. Here the tannins are a bit less refined and the finish hints at caramel oak.

The 2013 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru les Roncieres has a more introspective bouquet compared to the Bousselots at the moment. There are traces of tightly wound raspberry preserve scents flanked by red plum and limestone, but you have to eke them out from the glass. The palate is elegant and focused on the entry, supple in the mouth, with nicely judged acidity and a slightly confit sensation toward the structured finish. Very fine, though not the best in 2013.
