Note di degustazione
The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape la Part des Anges comes across as still being on the youthful side, with scents of toasted coconut and vanilla accenting ripe cherries. It's full-bodied, rich and silky in feel, and after a decade, it still needs time to fully knit together.

70% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, 10% Syrah. Very dark crimson. Dramatically ripe fruit plus some oak on the nose. Round and almost as though someone is trying to make classed-growth bordeaux out of Châteauneuf fruit. Not sure this is a good idea! A certain greenness runs through it. Lots of energy. Quite a dry finish. (JR)
