With the Miani 2022 Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano, Enzo Pontoni has created a textured, creamy white wine with notes of orchard fruit and Golden Delicious apple. An elegant mineral tone of crushed oyster shell is also on prominent display. The wine feels generous and abundant in terms of mouthfeel, with careful work done in terms of lees aging to create a very smooth drinking experience. The 15% alcohol content does stand out in this warm-vintage white.

It's soothingly round with a citrus-driven tension and crunchy orchard fruits cascading across the palate as pretty inner florals resonate. The 2022 finishes incredibly long, with a lemony concentration and lingering confectionary spices.
