Note di degustazione
From the Mitjavile stable. Rich and satisfying – provided you don't need your claret to be austere. Definitely late-picked and with the exuberance of Tertre Roteboeuf here. Lots of fun and much cheaper than Tertre! QGV (JR)

The Mitjavile family brings its magic to Castillon soils here (renaming from Château Cadet on purchase), and this is bursting with blueberry and raspberry fruits, espresso, grilled cedar and white pepper spice. Yes you can wait, but you might miss out on the plush flavours and the seductively sweet tannins. 80% new oak.
Lots of redcurrants, cassis, dried flowers, and graphite notes emerge from the 2018 Domaine De L'Aurage. It's a medium to full-bodied, impressively endowed Castillon offering ripe yet present tannins, a good spine of acidity, and outstanding length. I'd be happy to drink a bottle today, but it's going to be even better in 2-4 years and keep for a decade.
