Savoury blue fruit, a little knitted down right now because there are tannins here, gently layering up over the palate. Grilled oak, cocoa bean, cassis and sage, an impressive Médoc that delivers consistency in a tough year. 20% new oak. Second year of organic conversion. Harvest September 30 to October 15 (a plot of old Merlot was the very last thing to be picked), with a touch of micro oxyenation to smooth out the tannins.
