Note di degustazione
Incredibly clean, vibrant aromatics of honeyed orange, candied ginger, and sweet peach, as well as some subtle floral and minty nuances emerge from the 2020 Clos Haut-Peyraguey, which comes from the team of Bernard Magrez. It's vibrant and medium to full-bodied on the palate, has the more focused style of the vintage, solid concentration, and outstanding length. It's still youthful and lively, yet certainly enjoyable today, and it will keep for another 20 years if well stored. Drink 2026-2046.

Tasted blind. Perfumed with blossom and ripe lemons, and a touch of vanilla. Sweet and simple on the palate, with a note of apricot but only moderate intensity and freshness. (JH)
The 2020 Clos Haut-Peyraguey has a lightly honeyed nose that feels just a little monotone compared to its peers. The palate is actually more promising, with satisfying depth. It’s viscous in texture counterbalanced by acidity, with a dash of spice on the finish. It's the aromatics that let the side down. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.
