Note di degustazione
The 100% whole-cluster 2021 Syrah Sangiacomo Vineyard was foot trodden and aged in 50% new French oak (water-bent Saury). It delivers crazy-complex aromatics, with hints of violets, various sorts of resinous herbs, raspberries, cherries and even a touch of orange zest. Medium-bodied and silky in texture, it finishes long, with enticing notes of licorice. I'd enjoy it young for its seductive bouquet.

The last vintage for this cuvée, as the Syrah has been pulled out, the 2021 Syrah Sangiacomo Vineyard 100% Whole Cluster offers a brilliant nose of ripe black fruits, black olive, pepper, and game, with a kiss of flowers and violets. It's classic cool-climate Syrah and is medium to full-bodied, with great purity of fruit and fine tannins. This world class Syrah will keep for 10-15 years.
Spicy and attractive nose, with some tangy white pepper on top of black cherries and blackberries. Rich and flavorful, with lots of fine herbs. Dusty, fine tannins drive it to a long, vivid finish. 100% whole cluster. Delicious now, but better in a year or two.
