The 2017 Mâcon-Vergisson La Roche wafts from the glass with notes of preserved citrus, nutmeg and yellow orchard fruit. On the palate, it's full-bodied, satiny and ample, with plenty of volume and dimension on the attack, beautifully balanced by tangy, incisive acids that lend lift to the chalky finish.
