Note di degustazione
Wow. Aromatics soar from the glass – lifted spice and complex florals mingling with dainty and perfumed dark berry fruit. On the palate it’s so silken and soft, caressing the palate, long and elegant. Truly glorious.

Deep and seamless, the 2022 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) wafts from the glass with aromas of sweet wild berries, orange zest, peonies and vine smoke. Full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a pure core of fruit and sweet, powdery structuring tannins, this old-vine cuvée is once again a highlight chez Jadot.

Cask sample. Pale purplish crimson. There is gorgeously seductive sweet fruit on the palate. This has massive intensity on the palate. Quite a bit of fine tannin on the end. Needs a bit of time but this should provide an enormous amount of pleasure. (JR)

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
