The wood (100% new) is showing a little at the moment here, with spicy, cedar tones – but beneath the fruit lies more expressive florals and bright, tart, red fruit. The tannins are fine yet firm, giving a tender grip to the palate, giving shape to the fruit. Long – this also needs time for the oak to integrate.
