2003 Chambertin Clos de Beze

Red-ruby. Sappy aromas of superripe red berries, rose petal, smoky oak and cinnamon. Superconcentrated and flamboyant on the palate, with an intense core of spice to go with its mocha and floral flavors. Fat and juicy wine with an extroverted personality-but doesn't quite deliver the complexity promised by the nose despite its early sex appeal. Finishes very long and spicy, with building tannins.
