The 2003 Cabernet Cor Römigberg is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a dollop of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. This is one of hotter microclimates in Alto Adige, so I suppose the wine's rich, full-bodied style is not too surprising. The Cor Römigberg possesses gorgeous ripeness while retaining notable vibrancy. Dark red fruit, sweet herbs, licorice and herbs linger on the long, refined finish.
