12 months in barriques of French oak, 25% of which are new. 100% Sangiovese. Very dark colour, almost black purple. Intense aromas. Very concentrated! Some vanilla oak, spice, dark fruits. Interesting, full, and round. Good acidity and structure. Needs some time. (VD)
