2003 Emigre

Inky ruby color. Bright, vibrant aromas of redcurrant, wild strawberry and creme de framboise, with hints of licorice, mint and clove. Thick and weighty, with concentrated blackberry, kirsch and dark chocolate flavors, along with spicy oak notes. There's a fascinating interplay of rich and lively here. Finishes on a chewy, sweet note, with supple tannins.
