Punteggio 93/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Sep 2020

The 2017 Pinot Noir Central Coast comes from multiple vineyards throughout the Central Coast and has a touch of the elegance and purity found in the top cuvées. Impressive black raspberry fruits, white flowers, spice, and a subtle salty minerality all emerge from the glass, and it's beautifully textured, balanced, and just a joy to drink. It's well worth its going rate and should be snatched up by readers.

Calera's 2017 Pinot Noir (Central Coast) has come together beautifully over the last year. Spice, dried tart cherry, cedar and mint give the 2017 striking aromatic presence to match its mid-weight personality. Sweet, perfumed and expansive on the palate, the Central Coast Pinot is a real joy to taste today. This is a notable level of quality for a wine that offers both good value and that is relatively easy to find.

Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2020-2023, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

Aged 10 months in 10% new French oak, the 2017 Pinot Noir Central Coast has a pale to medium ruby color and open, inviting aromas of wild blackberries, oolong tea leaves, dried cranberries and cherries with touches of underbrush, charcuterie, dried flowers and earth. The palate is light to medium-bodied with a firm, finely grained frame and earth-laced fruits, finishing with lovely freshness and spice. 20,000 cases were made.

Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2019-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2019

The 2017 Pinot Noir (Central Coast) is laced with sweet red berry, mint, spice and floral notes. Medium in body, perfumed and weightless in feel, the Central Coast Pinot is an excellent choice for near-term drinking. This is a notable level of quality for a wine whose production approaches 15,000 cases.
