The blackberry, black-truffle and wet-earth aromas are impressive for the vintage. Medium-to full-bodied, tight and focused with lovely tannin tension and freshness. Pretty acidity at the end. Tasted just before bottling. Drink after 2022.
The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru Cuvée Heritiers Latour was the least advanced of Latour's reds, unwinding in the glass with a reserved bouquet of cherries, cassis, grilled meats, spices and wood smoke. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and layered, with nice concentration and depth at the core, juicy acids and fine but abundant structuring tannins.
Informazioni sul produttore

The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
