Note di degustazione
The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselots 1er Cru offers darker, more introspective fruit compared to Bertheau's Chambolle Premier Cru, plus blueberry and briary top notes. The palate is medium-bodied and very smooth in texture, with some oak that needs to be assimilated. There is ample depth and an attractive spiciness. A generous pinch of white pepper appears toward the finish. Give this another couple of years, because it is tight. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.

Mid crimson. Deliciously fragrant with red fruit on the nose. Sweet but fresh. On the palate, super-smooth tannins and more obvious oak so that the fruit fragrance is less immediate but not dominant. This is very good, but I slightly prefer the style of the Poissenot. (JH)
The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru has a fragrant, floral bouquet of ebullient red berry fruit infused with rose petals and incense. I like the delineation here. The clean, precise palate is well balanced with supple tannin, offering morello cherries, cranberry and a dab of soy toward the finish, which lingers in the mouth. Very fine.
