Concentrated but tight and backward, displaying dark fruit and underbrush flavors accented by a peppery quality. Tough going today but has the intensity and backbone to blossom in bottle. This holding, which was formerly part of the Truchot estate, comprises 1. 2 hectares, with the vines ranging in age from 25 to 80 years old.
