Note di degustazione
Pretty plum and berry aromas with hints of sweet tobacco and berries. Some forest flowers, too. Medium body, lovely fruit and firm, velvety tannins. Delicious now.

Tasted at the château, the 2006 Domaine de l'Eglise has a fragrant bouquet with soft red berry fruit, allspice and a touch of bacon fat, all nicely defined and very...Pomerol. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, plenty of irony red fruit, a little tightness towards the finish, but fresh in the mouth with white pepper and an almost garrigue-like note on the aftertaste. Tasted May 2016.
Sweetly black and toasty. Firm, chewy fine-grained tannins. Just the right amount of freshness giving a fresh fine finish, though tannins are slightly drying at the very end even with the persistent juicy fruit. (JH)
Ruby-red. Pretty aromas of red cherry, floral perfume and spicy oak. Not fleshy but lively and fine, with fresh cherry, redcurrant and mineral flavors lingering nicely on the aftertaste. Tannins are supple and sweet.
