Note di degustazione
The 2013 Croizet Bages has a very conservative bouquet with light damp earthy tones but not much more. The palate is medium-bodied with more weight than I presupposed, the tannins light but fine with a delicate, easy-drinking finish that I have no complaints about. If your expectations are not excessively high, then you might not regret choosing this Pauillac to drink over the next 6-8 years.

Riper, darker fruited than some of the St-Juliens just tasted. Dusty graphite and a hint of vanilla. Dry but fine tannins, light and fresh. Well handled given the vintage. The dry texture seems to last longer than the fruit. (JH)
Milk chocolate, blackcurrant, firm but spherical tannins. Toasted and smoky on the finish. Bright acidity. (RH)
The 2013 Croizet-Bages is a bit rough around the edges, with only modest depth and complexity. Sweet tobacco, dried flowers, mint and red cherries take shape in the glass, but the flavors lack definition.
