2013 Vosne Romanee

The 2013 Vosne-Romanée, from Les Chalandins, in Flagey, has a real sense of density. One of the more up-front, supple wines in the range, the 2013 offers lovely depth and an open, accessible personality. The dark red cherry, plum and spice flavors nearly bury the 40% whole clusters, which remain barely perceptible. This is a lovely villages.
