Note di degustazione
Healthy dark red. Wilder and deeper on the nose than the Charmes, offering scents of raspberry, menthol and game. Sweet and flavorful in the mouth, showing a surprisingly supple texture for a 2013 grand cru. This wine was almost painfully imploded a year ago from barrel but boasts terrific breadth and grain today. Finishes suave and quite long, with substantial, slightly dusty tannins and the mid-palate sweetness to support them. Confuron advises drinking this wine "tonight or in ten years," as he believes it will be totally closed in five or six years.

Bright red. Distinctly wld aromas of raspberry, crushed stone and menthol. Painfully tight and imploded in the early going; the most backward of these young 2013s today and yet the rather powerful tannins are quite fine-grained. Painfully tight, saline and very stony, showing more inner-mouth tension than the Charmes and finishing with slowly rising persistence.
