A beautiful effort from this château, which is located in more northern part of the appellation, the 2021 Château Grand Corbin offers a lively perfume of red fruits, spring flowers, and spicy oak. With medium-bodied richness, a pure, elegant, charming character, and outstanding length, it's a joy to drink already yet will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve nicely over the following decade or more.

The 2021 Grand Corbin lacks complexity on the nose, a little monotone and unable to repeat its promising showing from barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft, supple entry, possessing fine weight in the mouth but missing nuance toward a rather sinewy finish. Maybe it was pushed a bit too hard during its barrel maturation?
Creamy oak spices with currants, plums and some walnuts. Juicy and firm on the palate with the linear, medium body being enveloped by nicely chewy tannins. Medium-long finish to close. Drink now.
The 2021 Grand Corbin has a simple, rounded, rather monotone bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, and quite savory, revealing some hard wood tannins on the finish. There is decent fruit here, so it may well amalgamate during its élevage .
