Note di degustazione
Bright, dark red. Slightly high-toned aromas of black cherry, currant, wild herbs, dark chocolate and minerals, plus a strong element of spicy oak. A bit stunted on the palate, with dark berry and mineral flavors given some savory relief by hints of pepper and herbs. The tannins turn a bit dusty and peppery with air but the finish shows good stony energy.

Notably dark cherry red. Lovely ripe but fresh cherry fruit. Dry but fluid. A great balance between fruit and elegantly fine texture. Silky and food-friendly. GV (JH)
The 2014 Fixin les Crais is limited to two barrels, one new and one used. It has a lifted black cherry and wild heather-scented nose that is very nicely defined. The palate is structured and quite terse on the entry, more masculine than I expected with good backbone and a strict blackberry, sea salt-tinged finish. This is very promising, especially considering that les Crais is not a premier cru.
