2021 Nuits St Georges Les Boudots

The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Boudots 1er Cru, another maiden release, exhibited more reduction on the nose than the Les Damodes that made it difficult to read (a sample taken from another barrel was only marginally less reduced.) The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit commingling with tangerine and citrus fruit. Fine depth, good grip with an effervescent finish, this will age beautifully in bottle.
