2018 St Veran Clos des Poncetys

The 2018 Saint-Véran Clos de Poncetys unfurls in the glass with notes of buttered orchard fruit, peach, fresh pastry and confit citrus. Medium to full-bodied, deep and immensely incisive, it's layered and concentrated, with a textural attack and an elegantly fleshy, tightly wound core. This was vinified and matured in barrels, some 40% of which were new.
