2019 Morey St Denis Vieilles Vignes

The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Vieilles Vigners 1er Cru comes from a single parcel that traverses Chenevery (250 and Faconnieres (75). This comes from a plot planted with selection massale. It has a very well defined bouquet with mineral-rich black fruit, wilted red rose petals and a faint tobacco scent. The palate is very fresh and saline, the tannins finely chiseled with a discrete crescendo towards the finish. This is just a beautiful Morey-Saint-Denis that should not be ignored.
