The 2013 Château de Myrat has a pretty nose with orange pith, yellow plum and light acacia honey scents. The palate is fresh and tensile. It's focused and spicy, with a commendable structure on the finish. This dainty Sauternes seems to "grow" in the glass. The 2013 is drinking well right now but should give another decade of drinking pleasure, possibly more.

Tasted blind. Seems to be more oak in evidence on the nose – cedar, spice and coconut. Intense apricot and orange fruit. Bags of flavour. Generous and peristent. Intense and balanced. (JH)
Tasted at the de Myrat vertical at the property. The 2013 Château de Myrat has a simple nose that strangely reminded me of a white Burgundy at first! It's fooling with you...give it a few swirls et voilà, those acacia, honey and white flower scents emerge. The palate is well balanced with orange zest and marmalade notes, finely balanced with a dash of spice, quite elegant in style with a smooth and harmonious finish. What a lovely Château de Myrat.
