Good deep red. Fascinating soil-inflected nose combines raspberry, dried flowers, spices and a hint of cotton candy. Texture like liquid velvet: plush, fat and smoky, with palate-staining flavors of raspberry, brown spices and underbrush. Wonderfully broad and long on the aftertaste. Not an austere style of Bonnes-Mares.
