This has a bright, melon and pear nose with fresh peaches and plenty of soft perfume on offer, too. The palate has impressive depth and very open-knit, appealing and soft texture. Nicely resolved. 100% grenache blanc. Drink or hold.

From beside the river in the south of the region. Intense nose reminiscent of dried herbs and a lot less juicy and transparent than many of the try-harder Garnachas emerging further south. This seems somewhat freighted by oak. (JR)
