The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes is very harmonious on the nose: red cherries, raspberry and briary, light sous-bois scents that emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, quite nimble and light on its feet with a lightly spiced finish. All quite understated - but it works nicely.
