2018 Vosne Romanee Aux Reas

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas is the last wine that is still aged in the family’s maison in Nuits Saint-Georges. It contains no whole cluster. The tightly packed bouquet has touches of brown spice infusing the red berry fruit. The palate is sweet on the entry, offering lightly spiced red fruit mixed with tangerine and quince, and slightly confit in style, with a touch of menthol toward the finish. It just needs to calm down a little.
