The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru comes from parcels in Aux Murgers and Aux Vignerondes, and is matured in 50% new oak. It has quite a sensual bouquet of macerated red cherries, dates, fig and crushed stone; floral scents develop with aeration. The lively palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity and a savory finish that will require three or four years to fully absorb its carapace of new oak.
