Note di degustazione
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes has an attractive nose of cranberry, red currant and orange peel aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with quite rustic tannins, tight at the moment, and a little attenuated toward the finish.

Mid cherry red. Plenty of sweet oak spice on the nose. On the palate, oak shows too but the juicy escapes around the edges in a perfumed cloud of fruit. Deep in fruit but fresh to the long finish. (JH)
A mix of five different terroirs, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village includes 40% whole cluster and underwent three punchdowns in total. The light but well-defined, licorice-tinged bouquet opens nicely with aeration. The medium-bodied palate offers succulent black cherries and cassis on the entry and fine acidity, but it feels a little too sweet for my taste buds on the finish. This was picked on September 10 – maybe a couple of days too late?
