Punteggio 98/100 · Da bere 2022-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Sep 2022

Greer's 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon features perfumed, almost rose-like scents layered atop cherries and cassis, with a savory foundation of gently dusty earth. A blend of the tiny vineyard's three Cabernet clones (Clone 4, Wiemer, See), it's medium to full-bodied, supple, velvety and long, A lovely wine from start to finish, it's impeccably balanced, elegant and harmonious.

Floral and berry aromas with fresh plums and sliced oranges. Complex fruit character. Medium to full body with tannins that spread across the palate. You know they are there, but you don’t feel the texture. Lovely, perfumed and perfectly ripe fruit character. Pure cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a silky, elegant wine that shows the finesse of the year in spades. The aromatics are especially expressive today. A wine of classic structure, the 2018 is more elegance and power. I won't be surprised if it shows even better in time than this note suggests, as my impression is that it is a bit closed today, especially tasting it next to the far more exuberant 2019. (AG)

Punteggio 98/100 · Da bere 2026-2046, Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2021

Dense purple-hued, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers darker currants, charcoal, gravelly earth, and hints of chocolate in a full-bodied, ultra-pure style. Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged 19 months in 60% new French oak, it has fine tannins, a layered, multi-dimensional mouthfeel, and a great finish. It's slightly more focused and precise, yet not as lush as the 2019, yet should have a similar evolution over the coming two decades. Drink 2026-2046.
