It explodes on the palate unleashing gorgeous waves of tar and licorice-laced black as well as red cherries. Armed with impressive depth of fruit and a harmonious personality, this medium-bodied effort’s prolonged finish exhibits loads of exquisitely ripened tannin. Projected maturity: 2007-2017. Good red-ruby color. Raspberry, currant, plum and flowers on the nose. Sweet, supple and easygoing, with sexy oak tones and lovely freshness. Full but not heavy. Perfumed, ripely tannic finish. This seems ready to bottle.
