Note di degustazione
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Reignots is sweeter and richer on the nose than the more reserved Suchots, offering up notes of cassis, plum preserve and smoked meat. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and broad, with rich tannins, good depth at the core, and a saline finish. This has the highest pH in the cellar this year, and I would expect it to be quite precocious.

Healthy dark red. Sexy, soil-driven nose melds raspberry, spices, herbs and smoky minerals. Plush, fine-grained and sweet yet somehow light on its feet; like the 2016 version, this has a very high pH around 3.9 but its savory minerality and stem element give it sufficient energy and lift. A wonderfully seamless ripe-but-dry wine with a very long, rising finish featuring refined tannins and lingering black cherry and licorice notes.
(100% vendange entier ): Healthy dark red. Musky aromas of raspberry, cranberry and soil. Plush and pliant in the mouth, conveying an almost pulpy impression of density. At once saline and sweet, this very rich wine fills the mouth without conveying any impression of weightiness. Finishes uncompromisingly dry, with a serious but fine dusting of tannins and outstanding length. The wine's energy belies its high 3.92 pH.
