Note di degustazione
Brilliant ruby. A complex, assertively perfumed bouquet displays red and dark berry preserve and spicecake scents, along with suggestions of incense and smoky minerals. Offers a suave blend of richness and vivacity; a touch of blood orange adds an exotic twist to the sweet black raspberry and cherry cola flavors. The floral quality comes back emphatically on the finish, which lingers with excellent tenacity and harmonious tannins that fold smoothly into the wine's fruit.

Checking in as a blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Cinsault and a splash of Mourvèdre, the 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve Auguste Favier is lively and fresh, with medium plus-bodied richness, fine tannin and ample aromas of blackberry, peppery herbs, lavender and violets.
Bright violet color. A sexy, intensely perfumed bouquet evokes red fruit preserves, Asian spices, minerals and incense. Sappy, penetrating and pure on the palate, offering expansive black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that put on weight and gain sweetness with air. Ripe and broad yet lively on the finish, which hangs on with wonderful tenacity, slow-building tannins and repeating red fruit flavors.
