Note di degustazione
Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas of redcurrant and cedary oak plus hints of leather and earth. Nicely pliant and concentrated, with surprising sweetness leavened by fresh acidity. More saline and earthy than fruity in character but finishes juicy and persistent, with a fine dusting of tannins.

Medium red. A touch of reduction to the aromas of redcurrant, spices, meat and underbrush. Juicy, savory and quite dry. Conveys good cut and class but quite clenched in the early going.
The 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Charmoix offers a pleasant raspberry coulis and strawberry nose, with just a touch of marmalade in the background lending some exoticism. The palate is smooth and silky, supple, almost nubile in the mouth with rounded tannin, good density though just needing a little more nervosité to come through towards the finish, though that seems to develop in the glass. Good potential here.
