Quite creamy and racy. You wouldn’t go wrong with this wine made by a man with decades of Comtes Lafon experience to his name. I wouldn’t keep it that long but it should provide pleasure. Just slightly sweeter on the (only medium) finish than some. (JR)

The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc comes from Meursault and Puligny, half aged in puncheons and half in used barrels. Clean and fresh with Granny Smiths on the nose, this has good vigour. The palate is well balanced with decent acidity and plenty of extract with a twist of sour lemon perking up the finish. Fine.
Aromas of white flowers, orange zest and nutmeg introduce the 2021 Bourgogne Blanc, a medium-bodied, lively and perfumed white that will show well out of the gates.
Informazioni sul produttore

Having established Domaine des Comtes Lafon as one of the finest addresses in Burgundy, Dominique Lafon set up an eponymous négociant business in 2008. The vines are all farmed by the Lafon team and the wines generally leaner than those of Comtes Lafon, with less new oak.
