Medium red. Complex nose combines cherry, raspberry, licorice, fresh herbs and a hint of prune; offers an intriguing combination of cool and warm notes. Supple and sappy, with urgent red berry flavors complicated by a torrefaction note of espresso on the firmly tannic, lingering finish. A rich wine that is beginning to tighten up.
