The 2022 Le Boscq offers blackberry, cassis and light tobacco scents on the nose, quite airy compared to its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine grip and substance towards the finish that lingers nicely in the mouth. It should age well in bottle. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting in London.

With an introverted, somber character, the 2022 Le Boscq offers aromas of licorice, gentian, cassis and mulberries. Medium to full-bodied, rich and dense, it's concentrated with an assertive tannic frame and a long, spicy finish. This wine needs time to chill out.
A classic Saint-Estèphe, the 2022 Château Le Boscq reveals darker fruits, leafy herbs, tobacco, and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied, it has pure, fine tannins, terrific balance, and a rounded, supple mouthfeel. Aged in oak barrels, this should drink well for 15+ years.
The 2022 Le Boscq has a clean and fresh bouquet with blackberry, bilberry, cedar and light leathery scents. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and structured, with fine tannins and a grippy finish. This Saint-Estèphe will require some bottle age but there is potential here.
