While its red counterpart is notably less oaky, the 2022 Blanc from this estate continues to showcase a dominant bouquet of clove, spices and white fruits, mingled with notes of anise with aeration in the glass. The palate is harmonious and seamless, moderately weighted with a taut structure, balancing beautifully to culminate in a mouthwatering finish. This is a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon.

Absolutely classic notes of ripe citrus, pineapple, and minty flowers emerge from the 2022 Château Lespault-Martillac Blanc, a concentrated white that's medium to full-bodied, has a balanced, silky mouthfeel, and a great finish. Based on 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon, it’s a quintessential Graves that will benefit from just a few years of bottle age and evolve nicely over the following 15+ years.
The 2022 Lespault-Martillac Blanc has a complex and engaging bouquet with pear, peach skin and a touch of lanolin, showing a commendable presence with plenty of energy. The palate is well balanced with a crisp bead of acidity. It's more linear and tensile than I recall from barrel, with a focus and spiciness that only become evident with aeration. This is very fine.
The salt and lime character is really pretty, with brightness and freshness. Full-bodied with sizzling acidity and flavor intensity. Key lime pie, too.
