Baking spices on top of black cherries, berries and a hint of chocolate. Structured and dense but pretty chalky and evenly packed, showing a medium to full body and a lengthy finish. Drink from 2027.

Spiced black cherries, graphite, loamy earth, and chocolaty notes emerge from the 2022 Château Grand Corbin, a firmer, savory, yet still concentrated Saint-Emilion. It's a solid, outstanding effort that I suspect will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve nicely over the following 10-15 years. If these tannins sweeten up, this will warrant a higher score.
The 2022 Grand Corbin has a light, relatively earthy bouquet that needs coaxing from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and quite Left Bank in style due to the Cabernet Sauvignon component, with grainy tannins, adequate freshness and salinity. This should drink well for the next decade.
Floral in nature, the wine is packed with ripe dark pit fruits, creamy-textures, and cocoa in the nose, and on the palate. Medium-bodied, silky, and fresh, the wine is refined, elegant, and energetic. Drink from 2025-2040. 91-93 Pts.
