Note di degustazione
The 2022 Sénéjac has turned out very well and looks to be the best wine this estate has produced since 2009. Offering up aromas of sweet minty cassis, petals and pencil shavings, it's medium-bodied, velvety and seamless, with a fresh core of fruit and a flavorful finish.

The 2022 Sénéjac has a bold, ripe bouquet, quite modern in style as a veneer of new oak complements blackberry, blueberry and violet scents. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe tannins, powerful black fruit and a seam of dark chocolate towards the finish. Maybe this was pushed just a little during élevage? A second bottle did not show as well as the first and was deemed unrepresentative.
A lovely vintage of Senejac, plummy dark fruits, luscious cocoa bean and espresso, edges of rosemary and sage, good stuff. Eric Boissenot consultant, Bignon-Cordier family owners.
Juicy, well structured wine, majoring on blackberries and loganberries showing an unfussy hedgerow and bracken charm. Finessed tannins, plenty to sink into, touch of cocoa bean, cloves and espresso on the finish. 30% new oak for ageing, Bignon-Cordier estate located in Le Pian Médoc.
