Note di degustazione
Soft tannins, roses and crème caramel, butterscotch and white pepper spice, alongside crushed raspberry and cranberry. Natural yeast for fermentation, Diam cork, 50% new oak for ageing, a late harvest from October 9 to 18, one of the latest on record, which saved what had been a very rainy growing season. Sénéclauze family owners.

The 2012 Marquis de Terme has a light nose that feels slightly scalped, although I'm unsure if it is TCA. The palate is medium-bodied and quite austere, missing the depth of the 2011 with a somewhat austere finish. It doesn't quite click into fifth gear, and I feel there are superior vintages from this era.
Tasted blind. Deep crimson. A little sweet and sour on the nose. Bloody and a bit brutal. Not much follow-through. (JR)
A soft, fruit-forward style of wine from Marquis de Terme, this blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with an important percentage of Merlot, but also some Petit Verdot. It has a dense ruby/purple color, medium to full body, and notes of licorice, graphite, and blue and red fruits. Drink it over the next 15+ years.
