Note di degustazione
The 2013 Fourcas Hosten has a light, leafy bouquet that is typical of this challenging vintage, yet there are no discernible vegetal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, pretty red fruit and a balanced, clean, easygoing finish. This is a wine that stays within the boundaries of what the growing season offered, and in doing so, it is actually more enjoyable than many other Left Bank offerings.

Liquorice and fennel nose, ripe blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Simple, light, wavering on dilute but has just enough substance to provide balance now. This might seem feeble against a strong vintage, but it delivers a very honest account of 2013. (RH)
Pretty compact nose. Lots of cassis on the palate, and a firm tannic grip too. Good concentration, considering the vintage. Pretty simple flavour profile, but very nicely made. (RH)
