Note di degustazione
Part of the vineyard holdings of the large negociant Dourthe, this classified growth has gotten better over recent years. The 2011 offers a dark plum/ruby color, good texture and ripeness, and a spicy character, but in 2011 it tastes more like a top Cru Bourgeois than a classified growth.

Black core. Sweet vanilla-scented dark fruit. Sweet ribena-like fruit. Lifted aroma. Sweet and red fruited on the palate. Dry, very fresh, balanced but not trying hard to please. Pretty drying on the finish. Honest and the fruit just about fills the frame. (JH)
