The 2019 Rahoul Blanc offers up notes of grapefruit, yellow apples and grass cuttings, followed by a medium-bodied palate with a satiny attack that leads into a fleshy, rather soft core of fruit, concluding with a chalky finish.
The 2019 Rahoul Blanc offers fresh green apple, apricot and passion fruit on the nose, which is quite intense and well defined. There is a fine sense of what you might call “simmering exoticism” here. The palate is well balanced with a slightly resinous opening and fine depth, maybe just missing a little bite toward the finish, but there is weight and presence to this white Graves. Enjoy over the next 6–8 years.
The 2019 Rahoul Blanc is a deep, savory white. Dried herbs, chamomile, pear and almond notes lend a very distinctive flavor profile that nicely matches the wine's phenolic intensity and overall feel. The Blanc is very much a white for the dinner table, as it has quite a bit of substance.
