Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2024-2032, Neal Martin, Feb 2023

The 2020 Haura has maintained the purity that I noticed out of barrel, fresh blackberry and bilberry fruit, hints of black olive and brine emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with finely-chiseled tannins, hints of cassis and white pepper. Not as lactic as I observed in barrel and that means the terroir is articulated better on the finish. This should drink well for next 15-20 years.

The 2020 Haura is bold, luscious and absolutely delicious. A burst of dark cherry, plum, mocha, licorice, gravel and dried herbs makes a strong opening statement. This tasty, alluring Graves deftly balances fruit intensity with savory/mineral complexity. Best of all, it is a stunning value of the sort only Bordeaux can offer. Don't miss it.

The 2020 Haura is a soft, fruity Graves from the Dubourdieu family. Crushed red berry fruit, wild flowers, mint, rose petal and blood orange are all pushed forward. A wine of charm and early appeal, it will drink well right out of the gate.

The 2020 Haura is well defined on the nose of blackberry, raspberry and wild strawberry scents, touches of undergrowth emerging with time. I appreciate the purity here. The saline palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and a smooth texture. I find the finish a little lactic and maybe just missing the complexity promised by the nose – hopefully that will improve during its élevage.
